	The Beaufort County Schools
		The Beaufort County School District is comprised of three regional clusters – Battery Creek, Beaufort and Hilton Head – each with its own elementary, middle and high schools. We have 24 schools (three high schools, six middle schools and 15 elementary schools) and educate more than 17,500 students.  Each year student enrollment increases by around 400-600 new students. Renovations, additions and construction are constant as we strive to maintain low student-teacher ratios and safe, easy-to-monitor facilities. Beaufort Academy is a fully-accredited college preparatory school that is incorporated not-for-profit, and dedicated to providing an excellent learning environment for the motivated student. The Board of Trustees is a voluntary, self-perpetuating board, and our faculty is talented and committed to providing the best education available.  ~ St. Peter’s Catholic School exists to provide an atmosphere of Catholic Christian community in which faith is integrated in math, science, social studies, art, music, library, physical education, and computer studies. Our education emphasizes Catholic, Christian values and prioritizes eternal values over temporal concerns.. -
